What’s Wordless Wednesday? Click here for my explanation.
YUM!! (I don’t think I have ever said that about rings before)
HMMMM! I agree, yum! Makes my mouth water! This is perfect for that “martini couple”!
Last year HL Concepts, LLC was voted #4 Best Photographer for Denver’s 7 A-list. It was such an honor to be in the Top Five! Obviously this wouldn’t have been possible without your votes. I am pretty sure EVERY vote counted to sort out the ranks of the top photographers in Denver.![]()
So I wanted to say thank you again and I truly appreciate your support!
So I’m asking for your support again this year!
I think this year is going to be more of a challenge:
First off, I’ve intentionally gone “lower volume” in 2010. It’s a business model that works better for my editing style. (A-list is, after all, a numbers game – but I love a challenge)
Secondly, I’m pregnant and have endured morning sickness, pregnancy brain and will soon be on maternity leave.
Regardless of how I rank this year, I’m honored to capture beautiful milestones in my clients’ lives.
The road to becoming a mom has helped me grasp, even more, just how important my career path is. It is so touching to capture beautiful moments and help people archive them.
So if you enjoy my photography, read my blog, follow me on Twitter or have “Like” Heather Lilly Photography on Facebook, please consider casting your vote for Heather Lilly Photography! It’s easy to do (click, vote, confirm your vote) and takes about 2 minutes.
Votes are only accepted between 7/25/2010 10:01:01 PM Mountain Standard Time through 9/17/2010 9:59:00 PM Mountain Standard Time and must be cast on the official contest website: kmgh.cityvoter.com.

Done! And I posted to FB for others to vote
Thank you!
I appreciate it very much!
I voted and commented! YAY! And am now officially a fan of your Wordless Wednesdays! AWESOME!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
One of my clients informed me today that her brother had a terrible accident in Afghanistan and lost part of his legs late last week.
As I listened to her tell the story, I was reminded of just how precious life is. Luckily her brother will be ok, but life will never be the same again. He has sacrificed to the extreme. I’m sure so many people are very proud of him.
My son’s feet are kicking around in my belly as I type this and I can’t help but wonder if he will accept that call-to-duty at some point in his life.
I wanted to blog a reminder that I give a 10 percent discount on prints, albums, wall art (professional products) to active duty military, firefighters, police and clergy.
I realize that these people sacrifice a lot more than I could ever offer them.
So from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!

It’s such an honor to photograph four generations: newborn, mom, grandma & great-grandma.
This group is extra-special because I’ve known this Amanda (new mommy here) and her sister since middle school, photographed both of their weddings, recently did her maternity portraits, and shortly after Baby K’s Day One Hospital Portraits.
Here’s a few images from their session that I really liked. Their entire online gallery will be posted within a couple weeks.

2010 Blog Promo: Get 25+ unique comments about the pictures in this blog post and they will get two complimentary 5×7 prints. One to keep for themselves and one to give away as a gift!
In order for the comments to count, they must be from different people, about the images -like which image is your favorite and why you like it – (NOT notes to the wonderful subjects), and unique.
Please note: once you leave a comment, it awaits my moderation. It won’t be automatically posted (in efforts to reduce blog spam). Thanks!

I love the one with all our hands! But, I think the first is my favorite since Baby K is giving you a thumbs up!
So neat! I hope my grandma is still around when I have a baby so we can document 4 generations like this!
Baby K is so adorable and so lucky to have a wonderful loving family!
I LOVE the picture of all their hands together. What a great way to display the different generations! A true timeline of life!
I absolutely love the last one.
What a beautiful group of women. I know this meant a lot to them! I really like the middle one with all of them focusing on the newest generation
We can’t wait to see the full gallery of images.
Little hands and little feet with all the hands of love that surround her. What a beautiful shot!#2 is a perfect catch of Baby K’s alertness.
I liked the colored, middle one best with the backs. Think it’s a good view of everyone.
These are great. I like the back shot.
I love the side profile photo, with the baby looking right at the camera, and with all the half-smile mouths half open as if they are all four about to say something!
My own 88 year old great aunt is my grandma, since her sister, (my grandma), died when my mom was 19.
My daughter is due soon, and I hope Heather can take our photos together before she goes on maternity leave! Yikes!

Haha, the funniest part is the kids likely don’t know what getting the garter means, they just want to win!
Jeans Boy obviously not looking for love soon… And I love that one man (is that the groom?) is reaching for his beer while everyone is distracted.
Mr. Beer is one of the groomsmen.
