The last couple of days my husband and I visited Meadow Creek Lodge & Event Center in Pine, Colorado to celebrate his dad’s 75th birthday.
Since it was a family shin-dig (and we rarely get away to un-wind), I left my pro-gear at home.
But I did bring our point & shoot camera to take some snapshots of this beautiful, rustic bed & breakfast wedding venue.
I’ve photographed a wedding in Pine before (at Lower Lake Ranch) and I was excited to have such a short drive to what was ultimately a remote getaway.
When we pulled into Meadow Creek we were immediately greeted by one of the in-takers, Scott, and his sweet dog Kelly.
He got us checked in and showed us to our room, the Cornerstone.
This is one of the bigger rooms, with a king sized bed, private parking and driveway, fireplace and hot tub room.
While it is one of their deluxe rooms, this is definitely still a cabin setting – but a nice one.![]()
Meadow Creek has 7 rooms – all with different personalities. You can check them out on their website.
Scott is also the chef at Meadow Creek and Heidi is the CMT (massage therapist) – and they were both very friendly and quick to ask if anyone in our family needed anything.
The breakfast was really delicious – I had a homemade plate of pancakes, hash browns, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Since I don’t eat pork, they even offered to whip up some soy sausage for me.
Overall, my favorite part of this venue was the rustic setting/view. Second was the dog… she’s super cute & sweet (and made me miss our dogs).
I would love to photograph weddings at Meadow Creek, so if you are looking for a wedding photographer, please contact me via my website.
Here’s the pictures I took (again, at the mercy of our point & shoot camera):
