Justin, Catharine & Baby L | family & baby portrait photographer north Denver, Colorado

Thanks to Facebook, I was able to reconnect with Catharine – an old junior high and high school friend.

Growing up, we lived close to each other, so we shared lots of bus rides to school together until I got my driver’s license. Then I was the ride to school.;)

Memories of Catharine selling bon-bons for French club, coming over for a How to Host a Murder Mystery party, and the last day of high school all came flooding back when she, her husband, and new baby boy came to visit.

Here’s a sneak peek of her beautiful family:

Catharine & Justin: Thanks for asking me to take family portraits for you.:)I’m looking forward to your next visit!

Catharine Houstoun - We are so thankful we found Heather again! She did an amazing job and we had a wonderful afternoon with her!

heidi zander - I like the black and white shots. They seems more classic and direct, easier to see the individuals verse the clothing, i.e. bright colors. I think my favorite is the one with Liam in the middle looking out and held up in the middle.

M. Ryan - He is getting so big. I love how the pictures capture his personality. And the blue eyes – beautiful!

Will & Jennifer Houstoun - We love the pictures and we can’t wait to meet Liam!!! The middle picture is our favorite and the one to it’s right is a close second.

Justin Houstoun - I love them all!! I has been so hard to choose favorites because they all turned out so well. I am a huge fan of black and white photography so I am drawn to those…especially Liam looking over our shoulders. However, I love the color shots as they seem to really draw on his big blue eyes. Finally, I love the portrait of him with his fingers in his mouth. Completely captures his “what is this new experience” look he has :)

Jeri Houstoun - I love the color portrait between the two black & white shots where baby Liam has his tongue out and Justin and Catharine are looking down at him! All are beautiful though!

Grandma Jo - The pictures you took of my little grandson are so beautiful. I especially like the one with his green cap on. It highlights his beautiful blue eyes.

Grandpa Day - My favorites are the ones where Liam is wearing the “chuk,” which is what the Finns call a stocking cap — at least in upper Michigan. Beautiful pictures of my little girl, my favorite son-in-law and the best grandson in the world.

Betty Fleming - I agree with Jeri as the photo captures the interaction in this
trio, but I also like the one above where the loving parents are
whispering or kissing his little ears and the expression on
Liam’s face shows he is interested in this moment.

Freck likes #7, Liam snug in his cap, for inexplicable reasons,
adding, “It just speaks to me.”

It shows one of his favorite things to do as well as showing a hint of concern regarding what is going on around him. Thoughtful pictures of Great parents and a wonderful son!!! Sandi Kaiser - The middle picture captures the love shared by Catharine and Justin for their very handsome son! William’s delight in the love they share for him is very evident by his sparkling blue eyes and smile :)

The black & white with Liam up in the middle of mom and dad is a fantastic shot.

And the last photo captures the love and peace that is shared by this young family!
